Grace Gillespie

Grace Gillespie is a Bristol, England-based printmaker, specializing in handmade linocut prints. Initially developed as images to go with her music, she moved away from the music world after becoming too unwell to continue performing. Her reduction prints reflect her journey of recovery and a newfound appreciation for the small worlds that surround us, both indoors and out. The reduction process, which takes several months, mirrors the slowness of her recovery and the gradual nature of growth. Through her work, Grace hopes to capture the beauty of our immediate surroundings and translate it into prints that bring a sense of beauty, slowness, and peace to others' lives.
