A trip to Bali back in 1993 sparked the idea for the San Diego Hat Co. and its first design: the Original Cotton Crochet Hat. Fuelled by a passion for travel, a focus on quality fabrics, craftsmanship and, of course, a love of hats, the brand has now expanded its collections to include fedoras, cowboy styles, beanies, and berets to name just a few as well as other accessories including totes and sunglasses.

Returns

Merchandise must not be used, worn, washed, or altered. All tags must be attached and items must be returned in original packaging. Most merchandise can be returned within 30 days of the purchase date. All gift cards are non-returnable or refundable.

Any orders placed between 1st October – 31st December 2024 can benefit from extended returns until 31st January 2025.

Exchanges

We are now offering exchanges for clothing, accessories and shoes. Homewares, furniture and beauty items are excluded. An exchange request will need to be submitted and products sent back to us within 7 days from receiving the order. Once the return has been received, the exchange will be processed. Returns not received within 30 days will be charged to your original method of payment. Exchanges of products bought online cannot be processed in our stores.
